'No need' for A21 speed camera

The speed camera on the A21 at Johns Cross has been removed.
The camera, which was previously named as the top in the county for catching out motorists, stood outside the pub, just before the Johns Cross roundabout.
PC Jayne Cleverley of Battle police, said: "It was originally put there before the roundabout to slow people down for the junction, but I have been told now the roundabout is there, they say there is no need for it."
The camera has previously been the victim of two arson attacks.
In October Sussex Safer Roads Partnership revealed the camera flashed and booked 5,607 people that year, with total fines of £168,000 paid.
