THREE men are to appear in court charged in connection with a robbery in Lewes.
The trio were arrested on May 8 following a robbery at W E Clark and Son Jewellers in Cliffe High Street.

Aaron Stilwell, 22, from London, has been charged with robbery, two counts of handling stolen goods and dangerous driving.

Stephen Lidell, 26, from London, and Jamie Evans, 34, from Sheerness in Kent, have both been charged with robbery and two counts of handling stolen goods.

All three will appear at Lewes Crown Court on June 20 and will be kept in custody until then.

Police are also appealing for witnesses to help track down a fourth man who was last seen running away from members of the public in South Street.
