Pedestrian killed in A27 accident

A 54-year-old male pedestrian died after he was hit by a car on the A27.
Police said a Vauxhall car was involved in the crash, which happened opposite the Newmarket Inn, near Lewes, at 10.10pm on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Call 0845 6070999.
