A PETROL station could be knocked down and rebuilt.
A planning application has been made for the Boship Service Station, Boship Roundabout, Lower Dicker.
The station shares a complex with a Travel Lodge Hotel and a Little Chef Restaurant.
In a statement, Total Retail Property Services said: 'The intention is to redevelop this petrol service station to provide our customers, the
local community and passing motorists with modern and up-to-date facilities.
'This service station has been with the company since 1988 and last modified in 1995.'
The new station would have ground fuel storage tanks and a steel-framed sales building.
There would also be a new re-fuelling area, a HGV facility and a new car washing facility.
A Wealden District Council consultation for the application ends on July 31.
