THE branch meeting of the Mothers' Union at the beginning of May heard from Bishop Ken Barham of the work in Ruanda that he and his family (his father was Bishop there too) have been involved with for many years.
With the aid of an over-head projecture we saw how he has built schools, medical centres, hotels and houses, the latter bringing in an income for the Diocese.

The only resources they have are coffee and tea growing so new ways of bringing in an income is vital and where-ever possible local labour is hired. So thank-you Bishop Ken for a very inspiring meeting.

On June 5 we are going to the Crowhurst House of Healing for a service at 10.30am, followed by lunch.

I have three places left, so please let me know this week if you would like to come. Cars leave the church car park at 9.30am.
