MEETING held on June 7 when 19 members were present. Outings to Leonardslee and Middle Farm, Firle (June 20) have been arranged. Names to Mrs Vernon please.
Ticehurst WI has invited Etchingham members to their village hall on July 15 at 7pm.

Treasurer reported that the parish council has given the institute £72 while members were reminded that Etchingham will have a stall at the village fete on July 12 at 1pm.

Christina reported on the resolution meeting. There are not enough places for mental health patients and they are being kept in prisons - very unsatisfactory. And on fishing bottom trawling, it should be regulated not banned.
