THE chairman Pat Hartley welcomed everyone to the meeting. Members were sad to hear that Joyce Bolden was in hospital and was not at all well.
Sylvia Archer and Pat Hartley had just returned from a visit to 'Our Chalet' - the Guide centre in Adelboden in Switzerland. Next month they will be telling the Guild all about it.

This month we welcomed John Cawdron to the meeting again.

This time we brought one or two items of our own for information and an informal valuation. A most interesting and informative evening.

Among the items were an Album of photographs from World War One, teddy bear, Sugar Snips, police truncheon, Victorian Etui, figurine, teapot, cup and saucer and a Limoges box.

The amounts some of these articles were worth quite surprised members. No one was about to sell!

John Cawdron is a very knowledgable dealer, and brought several books with him for confirmation. He was thanked by Jean Watson.

The evening finished with a short prayer read by Chris Emson.
