South East Sussex Embroiderers Guild - May 16
AT THE last meeting - on Saturday, April 19 - the Guild was pleased to welcome Sam Fanaroff, a founder member of the East Sussex Guild of Crafts.
Mr Fanaroff is also a master craftsman in metal work especially in copperwork and he brought three beautiful pieces with him to show members.
He gave an inspiring talk on how and why people become expert at their own particular craft.
He also pointed out that there is nothing more satisfying than making anything large or small with our own hands.
The next meeting will be held tomorrow (Saturday), at 2pm at St Peters Hall Bexhill.
This will be a workshop as we begin to prepare and assemble our entry for the July regional competition at Canterbury.
Please bring a small sewing kit and prepare to make a variety of things.
