Here we are well into the New Year and we would like to wish you a happy and prosperous one.

Starting this evening Friday 11th January is the first Robertsbridge Archaeological Society meeting of 2013. This starts at 7.30pm at Robertsbridge Hall. The speaker for the evening will be Caspar Johnson and he will be talking about `Recent Archaeological Discoveries`. All are welcome.

Thursday 17th January at Robertsbridge Hall is the Thursday Progressive Whist evening starting at 7pm. This is a very friendly evening so why not go along for something different in the New Year.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Society will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday 17th January at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8.30pm. Now is the time to start the fundraising for November’s event. If you have any ideas or would like to help with raising funds please feel free to come along. This year the Annual Dinner Dance is on Saturday April 6th and it is taking place at Powdermills Hotel. Put this date in your diaries, more details to follow soon. Contact Ria on 07902625965 if you are interested.

There is darts and pool, you can be part of the team if you want to, a jukebox with 1000`s of choices, there is the large hall which can be hired out for parties or events at very reasonable costs.
