CHRISTMAS church services at St Nicholas are Holy Communion on December 23 at 11.15am followed by a carol service at 6.30pm.

On Christmas Eve there is a Crib Service at 3pm and a Christmas Communion at 11.30pm.

On Christmas Day there is Holy Communion at the Mission Church at 9am and a Christmas family service at St Nicholas at 10am.

The civic amenities refuse lorry is in the village on Saturday at Lomas Lane from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green, 8.30am - 9am; Back Road 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

Sandhurst Friendship Club’s Christmas Lunch takes place today at Merriments Garden Centre. Please arrive in good time for the lunch at 12.30pm.

The Kerry family would like to thank everyone involved in the 19 mile boat push which took place on the August bank holiday weekend to raise funds fro the Stroke Association in memory of Tony.

A special thank you to all who sponsored the event, which raised the amazing sum of £11,009.52.

A cheque presentation to the Stroke Association took place at the Swan in Sandhurst last month.

A mini-market at St Nicholas Church raised around £585 which is wonderful considering how wet it was. Thanks to all.
