The Ewhurst, Staplecross and Bodiam Garden Society is holding the popular Quiz Night on Saturday January 19 in the village hall. Delicious homemade soups and crusty bread will be served during the evening and should you wish wine to accompany your supper, you should bring your own bottle and glasses. This event is open to all, so arrange your teams of four or six and book with Pam on 830260.

Next Wednesday (January 16) is the monthly Luncheon Club at the village hall at 12.30pm

Aladdin will be polishing up his lamp, courtesy of SCATS, on the evenings of January 25 and 26 with a matinee on Saturday afternoon at Staplecross village hall. Tickets are available from Pauline 830570, Alastair 830245 and SCATS members.

There are plenty of exercise classes to suit all tastes and are held in the village hall and the Church Room in Staplecross. There is Line Dancing on Mondays 6-7.30pm for absolute beginners and Fridays 6-7.30pm for those with a little more experience. Both these classes are held in the Church Room and Helen will be pleased to give further information on 01797 252087. Tuesdays sees the ever popular Pilates classes, with a special chair exercise class on Wednesdays, and on Thursdays there is Yoga.
