Pevensey, Hankham and Stone Cross are still without cold calling exclusion zone signs despite successfully launching the schemes at the end of March.
The parishes of Pevensey and Westham have both said 'no' to unwanted callers and villagers were invited to the launch of the schemes.

However, some areas in the two villages have not been issued with road signs at the village gateway.

These signs alert door-to-door salesmen as they approach the zone and councillors from both parishes hoped the notices would be in place in time for the launch of the scheme.

An spokesperson from Trading Standards says the district council and county council's highway department are involved with the installation of the signs but said, 'they will be going up as soon as possible'.

Westham villagers who were unable to attend the launch of the cold calling exclusion zone can pick up information from the clerk in the parish council office at Stone Cross Primary School, Adur Drive.
