THE Tories' challenger to Polegate MP Norman Baker spent a 'productive' morning in the town recently.
Jason Sugarman, the Conservatives' prospective parliamentary candidate, chatted to local residents in the High Street and called in to the Conservative coffee morning at the community centre.
He also met with people who live in Brookside Avenue and talked to them about their concerns over the Honey Farm housing plans.
Mr Sugarman said, "It was a very productive morning. I have had a chance to talk to a number of different residents about the issues that concern them.
"I have pledged to do all I can to help. However, only with a Conservative MP for Polegate and local Conservative councils can we bring a cohesive approach to local and national issues."
