A round up of cases heard at Eastbourne magistrates court.
Crown Court
A MAN has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Gordon Moore, 54, of The Portlands, Eastbourne, did not enter a plea when he appeared before district judge Roger Ede sitting at Eastbourne on Friday morning.
The case will be heard at the Crown Court.
Moore had his case adjourned for six weeks for committal papers to be prepared.


Denied
A MAN has been remanded in custody over an allegation he kicked and stamped on a woman's head.
David Smith, 37, of no fixed address, denies assaulting Kelly Pereiro and is due to stand trial at the Crown Court.
He will be committed to the Crown Court on May 23 and was remanded in custody when he appeared before district judge Roger Ede sitting at Eastbourne on Friday morning.


Drugs charges
AN EASTBOURNE woman charged with a series of drug offences has had her court case committed to the Crown Court.
Victoria Hunt, 27, of Faversham Road, has been charged with two counts of possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of diamorphine with intent to supply. The case will be heard at Lewes Crown Court on May 23. Hunt received unconditional bail.
