THE EASTBOURNE Lammas Festival returned to the Western Lawns at the weekend.

The aim of the festival, now in its eighth year, is to showcase local talent as well as celebrating traditional folk music and dance.
And the whole weekend raises money for the RNLI, with more than £4,300 donated since 2001.
Attractions included live music, dance, drumming, bouncy castle, Punch & Judy, face painting, workshops and refreshments.
There was also a carnival procession with performers, Eastbourne Giants Herne and Andred, Pentacle Drummers, morris dancers including Hunters Moon, Bacchus and The Gong Scourers.
