Staff at Cobb PR will be swapping their normal work clothes for more unusual attire in a bid to highlight the need for maternity services in the area.
Members of the marketing communications team will spend a day dressed in nurses uniform.

They will be inviting clients and the business community to join them for tea, coffee and cakes on Friday, May 9.

The company is charging just £5 for the event, which it hopes will raise much needed funds for the Save the DGH campaign.

Campaign manager Liz Walke will also be on hand to talk about the fight against the proposed cuts at the Eastbourne DGH.

Tim Cobb, managing director of Cobb PR said, "The prospect of seeing me dressed as a nurse is worth £5 of anybody's money.

"However, I imagine the prospect of seeing my female members of staff dressed as nurses may have greater appeal for the businessmen of Eastbourne.

"We're thrilled to be hosting this event and hope to see lots of faces on May 9."
