Gray reaches quarters in Holland

Adrian Gray bounced back to form at the latest Professional Darts Corporation Pro Tour event in Holland.
The St Leonards thrower reached his first quarter-final since August at the PartyPoker.net Dutch Darts Trophy (Sunday) in Leiden.

Gray, 29th on the Professional Darts Corporation order of merit, began with a bye against Alan Warriner-Little before seeing off Lesley Geertsma 3-1 in round one.

He then edged out 14th-ranked Mervyn King and 32nd-ranked Wes Newton 3-2 before succumbing 3-0 against eventual winner and world number three James Wade.

Carpet fitter Gray beat Andrew Davies 3-0 in round one of the PartyPoker.net Dutch Darts Trophy (Saturday) only to lose 3-0 against eventual winner King in round two.
