Iden are back on top of the East Sussex Cricket League following a crushing win over the previous leaders.
The village club is 11 points clear at the midway point of the Division One campaign in light of a 134-run success at home to Ringmer.

David White compiled a magnificent 129 not out and brother Michael struck 75 as Iden built-up the sizeable total of 267-4 batting first.

Robin Mayes then tore the heart out of the Ringmer batting line-up with the fine figures of 6-43 as the visitors slumped to 133 all out.

Crowhurst Park moved up to second, albeit on the same number of points as third-placed Barcombe, by virtue of a 56-run triumph at Tunbridge Wells Borderers.

Park scored 175 batting first before bowling their opponents out for 119 to bounce back from their surprise defeat of the previous weekend.

Rye moved up to fourth-from-bottom after a 46-run victory over basement boys Ditchling.

Iden will host Rye in an attractive-looking derby fixture on Saturday, while Park will host Barcombe.

Elsewhere, Battle overcame St Peter's by five wickets to go top of Division Two and Pett edged out Ditchling II by 12 runs to go third in Division Three.
