The search is on for a new manager at Rye United Football Club ahead of next season which starts in August.
Clive Taylor has confirmed he will not be continuing in the role he took up on a temporary basis following the resignation of Dave Shearing just before Christmas.

He said: "I won't be the manager, I've already decided that. There's three or four names in the hat, but a lot is going to depend on whether we're in (division) two or one."

United finished the 2007-08 campaign in the second of the three relegation places from Division One of the Sussex County Football League.

But they may still escape the drop due to events elsewhere for the third year running, although confirmation isn't expected until at least the end of next week.
