76 couples tie the knot
A total of 76 happy couples are taking advantage of the lucky date of 08/08/08 to tie the knot in Hampshire.
The venues were booked up months in advance for the civil ceremonies, with almost a quarter in the New Forest alone.
Office for National Statistics figures show that couples are increasingly opting for civil ceremonies.
