ESSPA’s Cinderella will charm you at DLWP

THIS coming week the East Sussex School of Performing Arts (ESSPA) is staging a special Christmas treat for the whole family, with its stunning production of Cinderella at the De La Warr Pavilion.

This is an unashamedly charming production of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, written by the famous duo Rodgers and Hammerstein, and promises to be a fun Christmas excursion for the whole family – from tiny tots to grandparents.

Rodgers and Hammerstein are acclaimed for their popular shows such as The Sound of Music and The King and I. With their catchy score for Cinderella, ESSPA guarantees audiences will come away singing songs from this delightful musical.

As one would expect from an ESSPA production there will be huge, talented cast performing toe-tapping song and dance numbers, on a glorious set, with luscious, colourful costumes.

Teena Symonds, of ESSPA, said: “We have 150 children from aged between five and 19 on stage, and we would really like as many people as we can to come along and support them.”

Shows are on Saturday, December 29 at 7pm, Sunday, December 30 at 2pm and 7pm, Monday, December 31 at 2pm. Box office 01424 229111.
