The younger generation joined in the Remembrance Day tributes across Mid Sussex today.
Thousands of people paid respects to those who perished in Two World Wars also in fighting in Korea, The Falklands, Iraq, Northern Ireland, and Afghanistan.
The generations came together in tribute at moving outdoor and church services on Sunday at Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Cuckfield, and Hassocks as well as commemorations in smaller communities.
Hundreds of children and young men and women from schools and colleges across the district took part.
Some of them are pictured at Muster Green Haywards Heath, where mock gunfire sounded a salute during an outdoor service. (November 8)
