Armed robbers struck at Corals Bookmakers in Battle Road on Saturday.
Two men wearing motorcycle helmets entered the premises at 9.30am and demanded that the two members of staff hand over all the money in the store. Two customers were also present at the time of the robbery.

The two men then fled the store with the stolen money, and it is thought they drove away in a grey hatchback vehicle.

DC Gavin Patch is investigating this crime and is especially keen for anyone who saw two men in motorcycle clothing loitering around the area in the minutes leading up to the robbery taking place to contact him.

Anyone with any information should call 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 642 of May 10th. Information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
