East Sussex County Council is holding an information stand in St Leonards to try and attract people to the world of fostering.
As part of a drive to find more foster carers across 1066 Country, the local authority will have a team of workers in Warrior Square on Saturday July 11 between 11am and 5pm.

The council is particularly keen to talk to people from black or minority ethnic backgrounds.

Councillor Meg Stroude said: "I have nothing but respect and admiration for foster carers who do a fantastic job in giving children a secure and happy home as well as all the guidance and love they need to develop to their full potential.

"I would urge anyone who has ever thought about fostering to talk to our team and East Sussex foster carers to find out just how rewarding being a foster carer can be."

For an information pack and to find out more call 01323 747499 or visit www.eastsussex.gov.uk/fostering.
