Travellers set up camp in fields off Bexhill Road

Travellers who have settled in playing fields off Bexhill Road have been served with court orders forcing them to move on.
Council officials visited the encampment on Tuesday to hand over documents but they say it could be a week before legal permission is obtained and the order is enforced.
Nearby residents are fed up with the unwanted neighbours who are living in caravans and own horses.
"They arrived on Saturday evening," one of them said. "It's not fair they are allowed to stay so long."
It is believed the travellers are the same group who set up temporary home at West Hill last week.
People living in that area were angry the temporary visitors had strewn rubbish on the open land, claiming they spoiled the look of the beauty spot.
A borough council spokesman said: "We will be monitoring the encampment (off Bexhill Road) to make sure it has as little impact as possible on the surrounding environment."
