Hundreds of people flocked to Sunday's annual Summer Fair in Alexandra Park.
The event kicked off with a uniformed parade through the park by war veterans followed by a service at the war memorial to mark Veterans Day.

Hastings mayor Maureen Charlesworth officially opened the fair.

Various stalls and organisations were represented on the day, along with an entertainment area for marching bands, street theatre and displays.

Entertainment was provided at the arena by Sussex Brass in the bandstand throughout the day.

More than 60 stalls selling crafts, food, and other items were at the event, which saw its fourth year.

Various charities had their own stalls and children were kept busy with a bouncy castle and other fun activities.

A large raffle was held and the proceeds raised will be split between the veterans' association and the mayor's charities which include SAFE and the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Conquest hospital.
