The Scarecrow/pumpkin party held at the Ashburnham Chapel on the October 27 was a huge success with 31+ children and their parents attending. A great time was had by all and the children played a wide variety of games. The bring and share tea turned into a banquet with a wide variety of food and everybody left the party feeling very full. The best dressed scarecrow was won by Reuben with a notice on his back saying “Buzz off birds” and sisters Sophie and Lucy jointly won the largest pumpkin competition and the smallest pumpkin was brought by Isaac.

The Service in the Chapel will begin at 3.15 pm but they would ask if you are bringing flowers for arrangements if you could kindly drop them in to the Chapel between 3pm and 5.30 pm on Saturday 10.
