2M@1: There is no meeting during August.

FLOWER SHOW AND FETE: The 7th Annual Flower Show and Fete is on Saturday, August 15, 2 - 5 p.m. at Ashburnham Sports Field. Produce, flower and vegetable classes, art and craft, children’s classes. Refreshments, WI tent and other attractions on the field. Schedules are available at www.ashpengc.org.uk. Pitches on the field are available for local people and businesses to sell produce or other items and raise funds for their own organisation or charity. COFFEE MORNING: The next Coffee Morning is on Monday, August 17 in the Church Hall, Ashburnham Place 10.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. You are welcome to go along for a good friendly chat.

WI: Ashburnham & Penhurst WI are meeting on Monday, August 17, 7.30 p.m. at the Village Hall. This months meeting will be a Willow Weaving demonstration. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

VILLAGE LUNCH: The next Village Lunch is on August 19, at Penhurst retreat Centre, 12.30 p.m. Lunch is cooked every month for any older residents in the villages who would like a bit of company and a delicious meal. CHAPEL COFFEE MORNING: Ashburnham Chapel are holding a coffee morning on August 24, 10.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All are welcome to join them.
