Police want to speak to George Frederick Pallett, 19, of Mountjoy, Battle, in connection with a robbery where a 15 year old bot had his bike and i-Phone stolen.

It took place on Tuesday October 28 in fields at the rear of Coronation Gardens, Battle at about 3.15pm.

The local boy was riding a blue, orange and black Lapierre Zesty AM 527 mountain bike worth some £4,000, when he was accosted by two men.

The boy’s white iPhone 5C was snatched from his grasp and he was then struck in the face, knocked to the ground and kicked.

Despite being in pain, the boy was able to get to a house and alert police.

The two men made off with the boy’s bike and iPhone towards a tunnel running under the railway.

Police later arrested and questioned a 22-year-old man, who has since been bailed until 14 December while enquiries continue.

They now wish to speak to Mr Pallett and are asking him or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to visit any police station, email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 920 of 28/10.
