For further information, visit www.battlettc.com or call 07803138881.

Church shop

BATTLE Methodist Church will run a fundraising shop in Battle until Saturday April 28.

Based in the old Battle Stationers shop on the Abbey Green, it will be open 9.30am-4.30pm.

All money raised will go directly towards the new Emmanuel Centre at Blackfriars.

Parish Assembly

BATTLE’S Parish Assembly will take place in the Battle Memorial Hall on May 9.

Battle Town Council will be circulating a copy of its Annual Report, together with full details of the Assembly itself, to every household.

This is not only the opportunity to hear from county, district and town councillors about what has been happening in the local area but for residents to put questions to those councillors.

Rather than an open forum, the assembly will repeat the structured ‘Question Time’ session.

Questions should be sent, in advance, to town clerk Peter Mills on 01424 772210 or email petermills@battletowncouncil.org.uk

Table displays for local organisations will be located in the St Valery Room, next to the main hall. Any groups wishing to have a display should call Peter Mills.
