Robin and Chris Hutt opened their stunning garden at Fairlight End, Pett, in aid of St Michael’s Hospice on Tuesday July 15.
The model kitchen garden boasts a three acre sloping garden with lovely views.
The kitchen garden features over 30 raised beds, and a lush wild flower meadow with mown paths.
The large orchard and two natural ponds joined by a stream and terraced herbaceous borders offered everyone a taste of a traditional English garden.
Sally Beresford Community Fundraiser for St Michael’s Hospice said: “The garden is a true inspiration and over 250 people explored this truly beautiful garden.
“We are so grateful to Robin and Chris for opening their garden for the Hospice, which raised £2,396.06 which is fantastic.”
The next Open Garden will take place in Bexhill and Little Common on Tuesday 29th July. For more information on the Open Garden season please contact Sally on 01424 456369 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The hospice provides in-patient and out-reach palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses across Rother and Hastings.
