IF you have not renewed, and if you wish to renew your Bodiam and Ewhurst Parish News please pay your distributor £4.50 for 2013.
Bodiam village cricket club starts the season on April 21 at home to Crowhurst, 2pm start, weather permitting. If you would like to go just for the teas I am told are worth the visit to home games. As I look at the fixtures I see Bodiam are to take on Sandhurst away in an evening match 6.15pm. May the best side win.
I read in the Parish News that Bodiam has had three primary schools. I would like some information about an entrance step up in the old timber framed Bodiam School building close to St Giles Church.
If anyone comes by KESR train or bus service 349 to Bodiam Castle, you will get a discount off the entry price. Just present your valid ticket at the castle.
Many people come up to me and ask for the dates of parish council meetings. So the dates for the diary are: April 29, May 13, June 24, July 22, August 19, September 23, October 21, November 18 and December 2, all in the Parish Room, starting at 7pm.
