Soon William Past and his family will move to Staplecross. William is the premises manager at Bodiam Castle. His family association with Bodiam goes back to 1917, but William grew up with the castle as his playground (what a playground). He remembers parachuting an Action Man off the top tower into the castle. What will the National Trust do with William’s home? Perhaps more offices or rent it out for some high return.
Pam Marsh, who looks after the changing rooms at the recreation ground for the parish council put in a lot of work after the floods in not the best conditions. So a big thank you Pam.
