Summer Fete: Bodiam Church of England Primary School PTA held their Summer Fete at the school on a very hot day, unfortunately, not very many people came to the event. All the fundraising by the PTA is for the children of our school for enriching the curriculum.

George Bailey: At last George Bailey the racehorse has won at 5/1. George Bailey is also the Number One at the National Trust Bodiam Castle and I did not have any money on the racehorse.

New Family: We welcome a new family to 14 Levetts Lane, the home of the late Helen Dawson and do hope they have a happy time in Bodiam.

Books Required: The other day I saw Alan,of The National Trust, who together with his young wife, runs the secondhand book shop at the Castle he told me the shop could do with more paperbacks. Call 01580 830436 for details.

Cricket Fixture: The Village Cricket Club are away to Hadlow Down MW on the 26th July with a start of 2.30 pm.
