Bodiam

Parish Council: The parish council has now had information from the County Council about the footpath from the Green to the flats. The left hand side of the hedge will have to be cut by the council from the seat to the top. Inside the Bodiam Recreation Ground Changing Room looks good and the kitchen unit that was donated. The 2016 Parish Assembly take place on March 1st at 7.30pm in the Bodiam Primary School.

Church Services: The church services at St Giles this Christmas are December 20 Carols by Candlelight at 6pm with mince pies and mulled wine. If, like me, you have had carols from July, just go for the mince pies. Services on Christmas Day Holy Communion at 11.15am.

George Bailey: is now my best friend. He came out at 40 to 1, second. George Bailey is the name of the number one at Bodiam Castle and has a racehorse by the name of George Bailey. The horse has a new trainer - a lady. What next for George?

Happy Christmas: This is my last voice before Christmas. We are to have our family Christmas meal out this year. About 11 of us at the meal but one good thing is no Christmas games, but still a happy Christmas to Bodiam friends - both of them.
