Rev Gordon Winchester: I am very sorry to be told the vicar Gordon has died. Gordon put up a good fight with the support of Judy his wife. Gordon was a support to many and me in many ways he took my silly jokes and jibes sometimes about the Church of England did not go off on one. I saw him a few months ago we had a talk and easy went he said God bless you Jeffrey. What a man. I could say that with a fight that he had on his hands podium has lost a good friend. A vicar you could talk to and have a laugh with through the good times and the bad times.

It is good to get the friendly service from the shop and not told after you paid ‘have a nice day’. It is 8 PM in the evening you can be friendly with people but do not go over the top - keep up the good work Staplecross shop.
