BREAKING NEWS: Battle High Street closed off following collision

Paramedics, firefighters and police are currently in Battle this afternoon (Sunday, March 19) following reports that a car has gone into a shop.

Battle High Street has been closed off to traffic from by Battle Abbey to the roundabout by the police station.

Several ambulances are in attendance, as well as Technical Rescue Units from the fire service.

Reports say the car went into a coffee shop, called The Lounge.

Police said there are two casualties.

The air ambulance was also called out to attend the scene.
