Children’s Flower arranging: The children that turned up on Saturday 18 October enjoyed themselves and really did well. It was decided by them that they and the Adults accompanying them would like to do it again. Please put in your diary Saturday 13 December 1.30pm - 3.30pm in the Parish Room I will be holding a session for Children and adults to do something for Christmas. It is your choice whether it is a wreath, swag or an arrangement for the dining table, as it is personal choice please bring everything you need. Preferably evergreen greenery and silk flowers sprayed cones and such like depending on what you wish to do. The cost is £3.00 for adults and £1.50 for children this will cover tuition, refreshments and Hall costs. There will be a sales table with dishes, trays, floral foam etc available. You will need to book as places are limited please phone me after 4 November at the number above or email me if you are interested and if you need more information.
Thanks: Joan Hester would like to thank everyone who supported the Macmillan coffee morning held at her home. Although the numbers were few they were incredibly generous and raised £300.00 with an additional cheque; which made the event very worthwhile.

Saturday 25 October: The Friends of St Mary’s Udimore have an evening of Spooky Tales. Geoff Hutchinson will give the history of Halloween in words and music at 6pm in Udimore Community Hall. Tickets are £10.00 each and will include a home cooked supper, there will also be a licensed bar. Tickets are available from Celia Langrish 01424 882250
Sunday 26 October: Church Services: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125 St George’s Church begin their Family service is at 9.30am and Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Reverend J Michael Ward will take this mornings service at the Broad oak Methodist Church which begins at 10.30am. St Mary’s Church Udimore hold their mornings worship at different times so please look at their Church notice board or in the Parish Magazine. Live music in The Rainbow Trout tonight. The Rockitmen are there at 4pm for your entertainment.
Monday 27: Age Uk East Sussex – Brede Community Club: begins at 10.30am – 3.30pm. Please contact Maureen the Organiser for more information phone 01424 883282 or 07850 987120. Rainbows meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall, this afternoon from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, Brownies meet from 5pm – 6.30pm for girls 7-11 years old. Beavers are In the Scout Hut and welcome Boys and girls from 6years old they meet from 5.30pm to 6.30pm there are only two places remaining at present. Catherine will soon begin a waiting list. Tuesday 28 October: Pilates are in Udimore Community Hall today at 9am. In Brede Village Hall the Brede Luncheon Club meet at 12.30pm ready for their delicious lunch. Visitors are always welcome but you need to phone Christina Purkiss 01424 882274 if you need to cancel or if you would like to join. The mobile library visits Oakhill Drive 3pm – 3.40pm then Reedswood Road 3.50pm- 4.15pm
Wednesday 29 October: The crafters are in Brede Village Hall at 2pm and Yoga is in Udimore Community Hall at 7pm
Thursday 30 October: Sally starts her Stretch and Tone: class at 9.30am. Mobile Library visits Brede Village Hall car park at 1.25pm - 1.55pm

Saturday 1 November: the Giants of Brede will be open from 10am –4pm at the bottom of Waterworks Lane Brede. The Village Dance is in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm for those who are light on their feet. Flu Vaccination Sessions are available in Northiam on 4, 11, 13 November with the final session 21 November.

Thursday 20 November: The VI O’Clock Club presents The Cameo Opera an indoor Glynbourne at Brede Village Hall 7 for 7.30pm start tickets are £12 each.
