Friday 21 November: Brede Farmers Market is from 10am – 12 noon in Brede Village Hall. The last Flu Vaccination Sessions are available in Northiam today 2pm –3.30pm, no need to book. The Wea Practical Gardening is in Udimore Community Hall, 11.15am – 1.15pm. Brede’s Short Mat Bowlers set up at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall, they are a very friendly group but are in need of more players. Please phone the Chairman Mick Quinell 01424 214371 In Udimore Community Hall Pilates is at 7.30pm. At the Rainbow Trout Live Music from Hastings Beer Festival Band, Not Guilty from 8.30pm

Saturday 22 November: There is an Advent Fair in Staplecross Village Hall from 12pm – 4pm. At Vinehall School Robertsbridge TN32 5JL there is an International Classical Concert. Sunday 23 November: Church Services: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125 St George’s Church begin their Family service is at 9.30am and Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Reverend David Freeland will take this morning’s service at the Broad oak Methodist Church at 10.30am. St Mary’s Church Udimore hold their mornings worship at different times so please look at their Church notice board or in the Parish Magazine.

Monday 24 November: Age Uk East Sussex – Brede Community Club: begins at 10.30am – 3.30pm. Please contact Maureen the Organiser for more information phone 01424 883282 or 07850 987120. Rainbows meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall, this afternoon from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, Brownies meet from 5pm – 6.30pm for girls 7-11 years old. Beavers are In the Scout Hut and welcome Boys and girls from 6years old they meet from 5.30pm to 6.30pm Cubs meet from 6.30 – 8.00pm. the latter group has vacancies for children to join, the Contact is Colin 01424 852413. Guides meet at Udimore Community Hall at 7.15pm. Contact Hayley as above: Whist - the player’s meet at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall.

Tuesday 25 November: Pilates are in Udimore Community Hall at 9am Please note today at 12.30pm Brede Luncheon club have their monthly dining date in Brede Village Hall and Brede Parish Council are in the small Hall at 7.30pm. the 2 latter events are not on Wednesday as the calendar of events state in the Paris Magazine. Also today the mobile library is visiting Oakhill Drive 3pm – 3.40pm then Reedswood Road 3.50pm- 4.15pm.

Wednesday 26 November: Yoga in Udimore Community Hall at 7pm

Thursday 27 November: Sally starts her Stretch and Tone: class at 9.30am in Brede Village Hall. The Mobile Library visits Brede Village Hall car park at 1.25pm - 1.55pm

Saturday 29 November: St Mary’s Church Udimore Grand Christmas Fayre 10am – 12pm in Udimore Community Hall

Thursday 4 December: an annual event, the Cranbrook Town Band will give a night of musical entertainment in aid of our Poppy appeal at 7.45pm tickets at the door. Do try and support this event, it is a very enjoyable evening and the money raised goes to a very good cause. It always heralds the beginning of Christmas for me. During the weekend 6th 7th 8th December 2014 in St. George’s Church, Brede. If you would like to submit a Christmas tree decorated using the theme of Christmas Round the World, please contact, Vicki at The Rectory 01424 883408 Should you feel daunted by the task of decorating a tree then why not make an evergreen wreath to decorate the pillars of the church.
