The high energy group for young children, Musical Meerkats, had a fairly successful first term, at the village hall in Burwash, so much so that Rachel Wright who runs them is to continue with another six week term.
Children up to four can learn how to interact with others through musical instruments and movement.
The next term here in Burwash begins on Friday 9th November with two sessions, one at 10am the other at 11am. It will cost £30 for the six weekly sessions, with discounts if two siblings attend the same session. Siblings under six months attending the same session go free.
To book your child a place email Rachel on email@example.com leaving your childs name and age and the class you wish them to attend. If you have no email facilities call her on 07867 787227.
The Burwash bonfire Society held their annual bonfire and fireworks display last Saturday evening and despite the very cold conditions, more than 200 turned out to enjoy the fun.
There was music to dance to for warmth along with a barbecue, a clown entertained and children came in halloween fancy dress. The fireworks were once again pretty spectacular. thank you to the society for another great evening.
Members of the Not so Young group are reminded that their November meeting has been brought forward a week because of the elections.
It will now be held on this coming Thursday at the village hall at 2.15pm. Anyone over 60 is invited to join this lively group for the senior members of our villages.
Meetings always end with tea & cake and a raffle. they will be making arrangements for the Christmas lunch at the Bear too.
