Camber is the number one holiday destination ‘you might not know about’, according to a travel website.

Holidaylettings.co.uk have compiled a list of holiday locations across the UK and the seaside village came out on top.

The data is based on the increase in year-on-year traffic on the website, data trends and TripAdvisor reviews of each location.

Camber had an overall increase of 1884.3 per cent for 2015, by far the top performer with Tattershall in Lincolnshire second with 157.9 per cent.

Other places in the top 20 include Torcross in Devon, Kippford in Dumfries and Galloway, and Cheddar in Somerset.
