Have your say

The first cricket matches played by Catsfield last weekend resulted in a win against Parkhurst on the Downs in Bexhill followed by a close defeat by Brightling Park at Catsfield on Sunday.

There is a Jubilee fixture against Crowhurst at 1.30 pm at home on Saturday 2nd and then we are playing Bodiam away on Sunday.

Have you seen the red, white and blue display in the Village Hall garden? The plants were grown by Great Park Farm, planted by Elaine and Ann and donated by the Hall Committee who hope you enjoy them.

Friday 1st June parents and adults are invited to the school from 9.10 am to 10.30am to see the children’s Jubilee work, then from 1pm to 3pm school sports on the Playing Field, followed by teas, then a barbecue followed by a cricket match 6 – 8pm between the school and the village. Please come and support the excellent contribution our school is making to the celebrations.

Plans are finalised for the Jubilee celebrations and tickets are selling well. Please remember there are many free events. We have visits from the Chairman of Rother Council Mrs Joy Hughes on Friday, MP Gregory Barker on Saturday morning and Rother Councillor Angharad Davies Saturday lunch time. The Committee hope that everybody comes and enjoys themselves during the weekend and look forward to welcoming all visitors.
