A FOREST of Christmas trees appeared at St George’s Church at Brede over the weekend when the church held a Christmas Tree Festival.
It featured some 25 Christmas trees decorated by local groups as well as stalls and refreshments.
The festival also featured musical performances from local group including a group from Bexhill High, Opera South East and the Vocality. It concluded with a Christingle Service on the Sunday afternoon.
There was a Charity Tree in aid of ‘Surviving Christmas’. The Hastings based charity supports vulnerable people whether on a low income, elderly or disabled by providing food vouchers, hampers and a three-day open house event.
Children enjoyed entering a Spot The Mouse competition where they have to find a mouse hidden in each of the trees.
