Young teen steals bag at Camber Sands

A young teen is sought by police after stealing a bag at Camber Sands on Thursday (September 17).

The victim was taking pictures on the beach at around 7pm when someone stole the bag and ran off.

It contained memory cards, a camera lens and mobile phone.

The suspect is described as around 13-years-old, 5’6”, of slight build with brown hair.

He was wearing a black jacket with black tracksuit bottoms.

Police Community Support Officer Daniel Bevan said: “The suspect was seen with a slightly older looking boy of around 17 who was also dressed in black.

“If you saw anything suspicious please email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1502 of 17/09.”
