CLAVERHAM students pulled out all the stops with their costumes at the annual college Leavers’ Day, from a tribe of Oompa Loompas to the cast of Cats.
There were all sorts of colourful characters to be seen on Tuesday as Claverham Community College held its traditional Leavers’ Day celebrations for the Year 11 pupils who have come to the end of their final year at the college.
The Leavers’ Day is the college’s way of saying thank you and well done to the outgoing Year 11 pupils and rewarding them for their hard work and the commitment they have shown to the life of the college.
These pictures show just some of the wide variety of fancy dress costumes worn this year as part of the leavers’ event, which has become a real highlight of the college calendar.
The pupils enjoyed live music, a disco and a barbecue lunch and awards were presented for the best costumes.
Staff and governors at the college wished the Year 11 pupils the best of luck with their GCSE exams and success in their chosen plans for the future.
