Early morning car fire in Winchelsea

Firefighters extinguished a car fire near a home in Winchelsea in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, July 14).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Rye responded to a car that was well alight near a property on the A259 at around 3am.

Crews used one breathing apparatus and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire.
