Good reading shows during summer project

YOUNG pupils at Guestling Bradshaw Primary School have been developing a love of reading.

During a recent school assembly 42 pupils were presented with certificates from the local library service.

Kate Tugwell, from the school, said: “Pupils were encouraged to take part in the library service summer reading project and completed the challenge.

“Circus Stars was the theme this year and the children loved reading a selection of books and being rewarded throughout the process with a range of gifts and prizes.

“It was great to see so many pupils being presented with a certificate and all of this reading helps the children develop a love of books and a thirst for reading and exploring favourite authors.”
