School makes its mark again

A VILLAGE primary school has been given an award, commending its teaching.

Icklesham School was awarded the Quality Mark for Primary Schools for the 5th consecutive year.

This is given by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning in recognition of the school’s provision, practice and performance in respect of the basic skills of literacy and numeracy.

This Quality Mark is awarded for a further three years.
