Those who are kicking themselves for having missed the recent London Fashion week need not despair as they now have the opportunity to see some glad rags closer to home at a Fabulous Fashion Show.
Hosted by the Friends of St Mary’s Church, Udimore. The event will be held at Udimore Community Hall on Thursday March 23, at 7pm.
Friends of St Mary’s Church member Nadia Florence-Marshall says the event promises to be a fabulous fundraiser. “The work the friends undertake is to support the needs for the fabric of our lovely Norman church,” she said. “The winter, usually yields some challenges that need addressing, and the Fabulous Fashion Show, hopefully, will do just that.”
Nadia says the event will introduce new local boutique Kontrast of Rye, Lion Street which is run by fashion experts Rena Stout and Susie Jaggs. “Rena has organised prestigious shows in London and boasts having Celia Hammond as one of her models. That name will be familiar to cat lovers as she has a marvellous sanctuary and animal shelter in Stubb Lane, Udimore. They will be accompanied by world famous milliner Herald and Heart Hats, Rye. We also have French Fashion House Miss Captain. The new Spring/Summer collections are always keenly anticipated. Michele Duke, has been advising and dressing her customers for many years and knows just what to bring to the East Sussex fashion conscious woman.
“With all of this to whet the fashion appetite, it should be a ‘fabulous’ evening.
