Fairlight farm and Camber skip fires

Firefighters tackled fires at a farm in Fairlight and a skip in Camber yesterday (Sunday, September 25).

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliances from Hastings were sent to the farm on Warren Road at around 7.10pm.

Crews put out the small barn fire which was affecting one small tractor and battery charging equipment.

Fifteen minutes later, Rye firefighters were sent to Dunes Avenue where they used one hose reel jet to tackle the skip fire.
